Malegaon: Plot Allocation Begins at Midc’s Ajang Estate | Nashik News

Nashik: The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has started the process of allocating plots in the new Ajang industrial zone in Malegaon taluka of the district.
This new estate spans 345 hectares and MIDC has allocated plots to over 200 MSMEs in the food and textile sectors which are expected to generate investments amounting to Rs 1,000 crore over the next two to three months. next few years and will provide jobs for more than 4,000 people.
An MIDC official said these MSMEs are expected to complete construction of the factories between a year and a year and a half, with most units expected to be operational thereafter. “The plots are around 500 m² to 2,500 m². The process of allocating the remaining 193 plots in Ajang will be launched shortly,” he said.
Suresh Khandwe, a senior MIDC official, confirmed the development. “The new industrial projects will yield an average investment of around Rs 5 crore each and the total investment will be around Rs 1,000 crore. food processing,” he said.
MIDC officials said the whole country has been going through a bad phase for the past two years due to the pandemic.
At this stage, the establishment of more than 200 new MSMEs in the new industrial zone of MIDC in Malegaon taluka of the district is a positive sign for the industrial sector.
About two years ago, the MIDC had taken possession of 345 hectares of land from the Maharashtra State Agricultural Development Corporation (MSADC) to create a new industrial zone at Malegaon tehsil of the district and it had paid Rs 35 crore for it.
