The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce and Industry to facilitate trade and investment between the two countries. FBCCI Chairman Mohammad Jashim Uddin has urged US companies to source non-clothing products from Bangladesh.
Jashim Uddin and U.S. House Speaker Mark Jeff signed the memorandum of understanding, according to a news agency report.
Jashim Uddin said Bangladesh has embarked on a new round of reforms to strengthen and modernize the private sector to unlock the country’s potential to boost industrialization and export-led growth.
