This will be the first major event to take place in the new event space at Tileyard North, the renovated textile factory across from the gallery.
Artists, designers, makers and producers are welcome to apply to take a booth either weekend.
Applications are welcome from emerging and established UK-based independent artists, designers and makers or producers working in the fields of print, textiles, jewellery, homewares, ceramics, stationery, cosmetics and herbs, plants and floristics, food and drink and gifts for children.
A Hepworth Wakefield spokesperson said: “We are delighted to announce that our popular Festive Market returns this winter on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November and Saturday 3rd December and Sunday 4th December 2022.
“We welcome and encourage applications from underrepresented candidates in the arts sector. Hepworth Wakefield is Disability Confident Committed and we are committed to ensuring people with disabilities have the opportunity to fulfill their potential and achieve their aspirations within our organisation.
The weekend will include family activities and a festive offering in the Hepworth Wakefield boutique and cafe to ensure a vibrant and well-attended event.
The Hepworth will also be hosting outdoor illumination as part of Wakefield’s Light Up Festival.
TIleyard North developers expect the first stage of the Rutland Mills redevelopment to open in October – featuring 25 studio apartments and a large event space.
The deadline for submitting applications is Sunday, October 2 at noon.
