Air Jordan 36 Rui Hachimura “Crane/Sakura” DV5266-073

While the “Light Bone” colorway of Jumpman’s latest iconic silhouette, the Air Jordan 37, dropped earlier this morning, its predecessor continues to shine a light on the stories and journeys of its young roster of iconic athletes. From Jayson Tatum’s “Mustang” PE to Luka Doncic’s “El Matador” nickname, the Jordan 36 pays homage to Rui Hachimura’s Japanese heritage with a stylish Sakura fabric print.

True to its namesake, the floral textile fills the midfoot with red, pink and green flowers in an embroidered finish while the nation’s Bird of Happiness and Good Luck – a crane – also appears throughout the upper in jacquard. The pre-set combination of red and forest green is additionally utilized as midfoot panel trim, positioned between the black suede collar and semi-translucent mint tread underfoot. Premium accents continue to flow through the model with gold eyelets and a suede lace-up closure, while other titular touches in the alloy’s hue give the heel tabs and Japanese text of the inner tongue, adjacent “NIKE AIR” branding and Rui’s crest stitched to the tongue for a sumptuous conclusion.
